Before you begin

What you need

Your ordinary Shipbuilder username and password. There is no training account.

They are checked against Shipbuilder itself. This site never stores your password, and there is nowhere in its database that one could go.

Signing in

The first sign-in provisions a workspace of your own and seeds it with the example project. It takes a minute or two, and the header says Setting up your workspace… while it runs. When it is done that is replaced by Open workspace · — which is the link into it, and lands you in Shipbuilder already signed in and already in your own workspace.

When it goes wrong

Reset re-creates and re-seeds your workspace. You lose the work in it and nothing else. Break things on purpose; that is what it is for.

If the header offers neither Open workspace nor a set-up button, Shipbuilder itself is unreachable — not anything you did. Your work is still there; wait and reload.
